"Translating complex user needs into capable interfaces."
About Me
I am a UX designer, who specializes in complex enterprise and clinical environments. My design practice is driven by human-centered research and systems thinking, from surgical robotics at Johnson & Johnson to contract modeling suites at GE Aerospace. I bridge the gap between physical hardware and digital software by translating complex user needs into capable interfaces.

When a surgeon’s eyes are locked into a stereoscopic 3D viewer, how do you deliver critical information without breaking their focus?
At J&J, I help design a unified, multi-touchpoint experience. My work spans a stereoscopic viewer, an embedded armrest touchscreen, a 4K tower display, and real-time audiovisual cues to increase efficiency in the operating room.

Generating and auditing jet engine service agreements demands high accuracy with zero room for error. Dated enterprise tools place the entire burden on the user, driving up cognitive load and opening the door to costly mistakes.
In this case study, explore how I led end-to-end UX for GE Aerospace’s contract modeling suite. In this project, I combined user research, rapid prototyping, and interaction design to turn complex contract modeling into an intuitive, error-resistant workflow.

01.
Design for Multi-Touchpoint Experiences & Connected Systems
I unify complex user journeys across physical and digital touchpoints, to build seamless ecosystems. Examples include designing for a multi-screen robotic system and designing handoffs from mobile devices to robotic systems.
02.
Multi-Modal Design
I design intuitive interactions that blend visual, spatial, and tactile workflows. I have experience designing for physical controllers, sonic experiences, LEDs, and touchscreen interfaces.
03.
Variable-Fidelity Prototyping
Depending on project needs, I can rapidly scale from low-fidelity mockups to high-fidelity, interactive prototypes. Through the use of prototypes, I can validate complex workflows, evaluate usability, and accelerate product development.
04.
IP Generation
I have experience ideating and developing breakthrough features on complex systems and securing proprietary design innovations that protect a company's competitive edge in the market.
