Overview
At J&J, I lead numerous end-to-end UX Design workflows for holistic, medical device experiences. They are tailored to a diverse range of clinical users, including surgeons, circulating nurses, first assists, scrub techs, and anesthesiologists.
I collaborate cross-functionally to bring these core workflows from concept to a successful commercial launch. I work with human factors engineers, clinical engineers and systems engineers, among others.
My Contributions
Responsible for the design of the Surgeon's hand assignment interface. Partnered with various teams to bring the lightweight and delightful interaction to life.
Heavily contributed to the design of the surgeon's core immersive interface. Worked with the team to conduct research to understand what information the Surgeon would find valuable at a glance.
Designed for the staff's core Tower interface. For a successful design, screen height, OR room lighting, specific users' distance from the display, etc., were considered.
In this role, I have created production-level design work and shipped it. I continue to collaborate with development teams to understand technical feasibility and weigh that against business timelines.
